This was a quilt star pattern embroidered on evenweave. I bought this kit somewhere and no longer recall where. I do know it was purchased from an "official" cross stitch store, but don't remember which one.

That was supposed to be a small butterfly, but I never got around to it. And so, this poor flower basket sits, butterfly-less. Will you take pity on it and give it a butterfly? ;D (Really, I'm just kidding. And someday I may still stitch a butterfly on there.)

Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed making this piece. I haven't got the guts for Hardanger, but there was no cutting involved in this...the "holes" in the fabric were all made with stitches that were pulled tight to create them. In addition, there are beads in this piece.

Butterfly Wreath4534 viewsI believe this was a project I made at a stitching retreat long ago. I seem to recall it was a Just Nan design. It's stitched on evenweave, over two. Just a guess about the fabric count...I'm guessing it was 28 count. There are some beaded embellishments in this piece
