New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

ugh i forgot to add the picture!
I am working on my first graphghan and I did not know how to read that graph, so I chained 240 for 239 columns or stitches across. I will post a picture of a finished Blanket to show you what it supposed to look like. If i continue on this path, there will be 50 spaces/stitches/colums between the first half of the word and the second half of the word. I need to know how to place this word onto a graph so that it is balanced. the mascot will be to the left (which is off center in the original graph anyways) and the Team name will be on the right side...
BUT here is my dilema...i want to do the name in BLOCK letters instead of the funky ones in the original graph. i NEED to get this done asap.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR EXPERTISE!

I would like to create a bead loom pattern two inches across and two inches wide. How do I limit stitches to create that? Thank you.

Samberto,
You're so welcome!
DMC adding new colors is certainly
something wonderful...I'm loving the purple and fuchsia
shades!

Conny,
Welcome!
Your English is
delightful! I know native speakers who can't write half as
well.
Feel free to drop by anytime, tell us
about yourself (would love to hear more about life in your
country!) and if you wouldn't mind, please share some pics of your
work so we can all drool!
