New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

José,

Great, glad you found something that works for you!  Kiss  And thank you for sending in a free pattern!  It may take a few days for approval, as we're working on our system software.  Smile

I will be waiting to see how you fared with this Pam!  Good for you for tackling such a common project we all have.  Would love to hear any / all tips and tricks you learn through the process!

Melanie,

I prefer the lighter yarns for tunisian knit, the heavier ones create a stiffer fabric that I certainly wouldn't care for in a garment. Wink

Sure, it does take a lot longer. But I do prefer it. Kiss

I posted two FREE beading/jewelry making books (and one on chainmail) for Kindle for today...grab them before they're gone!  (Note: you do not need to have an actual Kindle.  If you have a smartphone, you can download a Kindle reader app for FREE...if all you have is a PC, you can download to your PC...and I believe there may also be a way now of completely bypassing any kind of reader app to read directly online - though please don't quote me on that, as I'm not sure.  I find the PC reader to be quite decent for pattern content...since I don't own a Kindle, I can't say how well it works...but I would think a smaller screen would make patterns kind of difficult to read.)

Okay, Melanie...you deserve your own cloud of comfort filled with your favorite things after this life! Cheesy

I think using one of these other programs will fix my issues.  I completely understand now that you explained.  I often need to say "Great, now tell me that agaiin but imagine I'm a 5 year old without social media or friends. GO!" Cheesy

I will report back as soon as I give this a go.

As for ceramics, if there is an interest I'd love to talk shop.  Unfortunately, I'm currently not practicing as Denver has a lack of traditional studios and I've yet to win the lottery.  It's a labor of love, poverty, melting junk and being confused about being a hippie according to my dad!  One day!

I've added a couple pics and my idea of funny on video of the lady in question...my bbw sister, Lola Briggida Lopez.  The worlds first american hippo pitbull.
