Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. Hello, I am looking for this pattern. It was created on stitchboard. It is a face with a finger on her lips. It is amazing and I want to crochet.
Please can you help me
Ok Thank you, this explains why there is no yarn type..LOL...ugh back to the drawing board. I am trying to make a graph from a photo of a horse for a friend of mine who recently had to put her horse down and i want to make this as a surprise so the full colour palette was perfect but i will go back and see if i can do something different with the palettes shown..Thank you so much for your response...
Piddy,
Hi! Portrait mode is to work a vertical rectangular piece (as in a portrait), landscape is to work it as a horizontal rectangular piece (a la a landscape).
I'm not sure what you're asking, so my apologies. Please clarify. Are you talking about working your piece side to side, your rows going from bottom to top as a vertical rectangle, or are you planning on working it bottom to top, so to speak, with your rows going side to side, as a horizontal rectangular piece? Either way it doesn't matter, as long as you send it through the way you'll be working it. You just need to be sure your stitches are keyed for short, wide crochet stitches if you're using standard single crochet.
Hi! Thank you for that. I chose standard and am following the US on crocheting. So that means any patterned word chart will just mean all single crochets then right? I'm assuming the starting chains are not included in it so what is said to be Row 1 will actually be the 2nd row above the chains?

Hello!
New here. Does anyone know
if it is permitted to create your own design here and then sell it
on Etsy?
Thank you!
Anna
