New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

This version catches knitting up to crochet regarding numbering.

Now all Crochet and Knitting charts are numbered properly from bottom up with odd and even row numbers on the proper sides.  We also just added an option for the left-handed.  (More about this addition here.)

This numbering shows up on both pdf charts and those made on the screen.

Let me know if you find any problems or want additional related features!

Line,

I have friends who have dogs; they talk about how the dogs love the water, so perhaps it's not unusual?

Glad to think your pup has seen everything possible.  Kiss  I would think there would be much less of a problem that way, than a dog who has been exposed to nothing and is afraid of everything.

How great that she's house clean already!  Kiss

Do you think Jamie has pretty much adopted Silver as her little sister?  Kiss  How loving and sweet, and must be quite lovely to watch them together!  Kiss

I posted one FREE jewelry making book for Kindle for today...grab it before it's gone!  (Note: you do not need to have an actual Kindle.  If you have a smartphone, you can download a Kindle reader app for FREE...if all you have is a PC, you can download to your PC...and I believe there may also be a way now of completely bypassing any kind of reader app to read directly online - though please don't quote me on that, as I'm not sure.  I find the PC reader to be quite decent for pattern content...since I don't own a Kindle, I can't say how well it works...but I would think a smaller screen would make patterns kind of difficult to read.)

Love everything here!  Kiss

I love the colors of the hibiscus block (that's a gorgeous pattern, BTW!), but you're absolutely right...the variegated colors stitched on that white background are too close(?), maybe?  I think black would be too dark, though...so perhaps a solid color in the place of the variegated.  Also...if you were to use a solid color that's one of the colors in the variegated, you could then use the variegated as a border...that would be oooooooooooo pretty, IMO, because those colors really pop!

Another way to do it (not sure if this would work) might be to take a color that matches the variegated, yet isn't part of it...purple, perhaps? and make the design out of that color, then use the variegated for the background.  Or vice versa.

Whatever the case, even with the white kind of blending too much with the variegated, it still looks lovely!  Kiss

Now, the shawls...droooooooooooooool!  Kiss  Lucky aunts!  Both patterns are absolutely beautiful!  Kiss

Are you going to go with the same color when you get back to the store, or will you be adding a different color?  The nice thing is that would go with so many choices!  Kiss
