i live in the small coastal town i was born in with my husband of nearly 33 years and 4 cats-2 males and 2 females. it's hard to say who really rules the roost around here. we have 3 grown children, 14 grandkids raging in age from 2-25, and 3 great-grandkids, ages 6, 2 and 1 year.
i turned 62 in January and am looking forward to finally getting my Social Security. it will go a long way to helping with medical bills, and beads of course. LOL
i've been beading for about 6 years. i got started before i really 'knew' i was beading by making beaded crochet Victorian-style outfits for 11.5" dolls. then i started making beaded ornaments, and the rest, as they say, is history. A few years ago, i teamed up with Glenda Payseno and began converting her patterns for left-handed beaders. Now i own the Beadchat4Lefties yahoo group/ which compliments Glenda's Beadchat group.
my LuLu store has most of the earlier stuff glenda and i worked on and is soley for left-handed beaders. Glenda's website has some of the more recent things. right now there are finished pieces for sale as well, which we couldn't offer at Lulu. down the road we'll be offering more CDs, and at some point the occasional kit. the website offers us much more flixibility for having sales, contests, etc., than we had before, so we're both very excited about it.
