Striped Socks - front6890 viewsI was blown away by these, too. These are striped mirror images! The color isn't murky like in these pics...it's called Aloha Multi, and it reminds me of Hawaii!

Square stitch silver choker6864 viewsThis was made with square stitch and 11/0 S/L Delicas. Personnel at a bead store looked at it and thought it was made of silver.

"Holes scarf" from Iris Schreier's "Modular Knits" book6835 viewsThis is the "holes scarf" from Iris Schreier's "Modular Knits." I really enjoyed the short row technique used to make this, and at first I loved the colors in this yarn, but after a while, I began to think of the combo as looking like something the cat puked up.

Get Well Soon Bear6834 viewsThis is just about the only item in this album that didn't come from a kit (if not the only one). This was a design in a British cross stitch magazine (but not a cover kit). I'm including it here because I'm not sure yet where to place it (and may ultimately include it in another album, as well).

Three Christmas Bears6626 viewsThese three little bears were kind enough to pose for me after I did a little stitching on their outfits. The two girls are wearing Aida cloth aprons and the boy is wearing an Aida cloth scarf.

Picot lace choker6558 viewsThis is a picot lace choker, made from a lace pattern in Beadwork magazine. I made this as a choker.

Rupert's sweater - bunny buttons6403 viewsThis is another view of Rupert's sweater. In case it's hard to tell, the buttons are bunnies. (Rupert makes quite the handsome model, doesn't he?)

Crocheted baby afghan6387 viewsThis is a baby afghan I crocheted for a friend. I couldn't get the entire thing in the photo, so I folded it until it fit. Yes, it's huge. I made it that way on purpose.
The stitch pattern is a random stitch pattern I grabbed from a book, probably "Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework." The yarn is Caron's Simply Soft. Green and I don't usually get along, but I do like this particular shade of mint green.
