Mariko bear7566 viewsThis is Mariko bear. She's crocheted out of three or four strands of metallic gold embroidery floss. Her cape is rayon embroidery floss. Her nose and flowers are made of 15/0 seed beads, beaded in peyote stitch, the nose in a heart shape. She's fully jointed (arms, legs and head).

Carl & Diana7517 viewsSome friends of mine were getting married, and I wanted to create something special for them. When the bride told me blue was her favorite color, I created this design to stitch onto fingertip towels to give as a wedding gift.

Rebel Rouser7378 viewsClassic denim jeans and jacket with black "turtle-neck" dickey. Since the dolls are so small, sleeves under the jacket would be unnecessary added bulk.

Jeweled beaded bar pin - Nutmeg Diamond7342 viewsThis is Mill Hill's Nutmeg Diamond beaded bar pin. I made one for the store where I was teaching the class, and bought one for myself, because I loved the colors. This is the manufacturer's picture, because mine didn't turn out.

Miniature Sock - facing right7334 viewsI want to wear this as a pendant! It's so adorable...my American Girl doll was looking on in envy, but thank goodness, it wouldn't fit her, anyway! ;D

The Earthdancer7182 viewsThis is my version of Marilyn Leavitt Imblum's incredible piece, the "Earthdancer." I took the suggestion on the pattern and used only one strand of the specialty thread for the dreamcatcher (the picture on the pattern showed it made with at least three strands, perhaps six). This is not quite finished...one thread from the dreamcatcher became loose, so it needs to be tightened and woven under again. The other thing I haven't finished is figuring out what color to make the two feathers under the dreamcatcher. Because I changed fabric colors (the designer's color choice was a beigy brown I didn't like because it somewhat obscured the dancing Native American woman), the feathers then blended into the fabric color. I tried outlining the feather on the right, but don't really like it, so will have to someday rip out the stitches and change the floss colors to something else. LOL, am I too picky? Probably!
