Jeweled beaded bar pin - Nutmeg Diamond5992 viewsThis is Mill Hill's Nutmeg Diamond beaded bar pin. I made one for the store where I was teaching the class, and bought one for myself, because I loved the colors. This is the manufacturer's picture, because mine didn't turn out.

Mariko bear5955 viewsThis is Mariko bear. She's crocheted out of three or four strands of metallic gold embroidery floss. Her cape is rayon embroidery floss. Her nose and flowers are made of 15/0 seed beads, beaded in peyote stitch, the nose in a heart shape. She's fully jointed (arms, legs and head).

"Holes scarf" from Iris Schreier's "Modular Knits" book5780 viewsThis is the "holes scarf" from Iris Schreier's "Modular Knits." I really enjoyed the short row technique used to make this, and at first I loved the colors in this yarn, but after a while, I began to think of the combo as looking like something the cat puked up.

Crocheted baby afghan5130 viewsThis is a baby afghan I crocheted for a friend. I couldn't get the entire thing in the photo, so I folded it until it fit. Yes, it's huge. I made it that way on purpose.
The stitch pattern is a random stitch pattern I grabbed from a book, probably "Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework." The yarn is Caron's Simply Soft. Green and I don't usually get along, but I do like this particular shade of mint green.

Rupert's sweater - bunny buttons4584 viewsThis is another view of Rupert's sweater. In case it's hard to tell, the buttons are bunnies. (Rupert makes quite the handsome model, doesn't he?)

Purple peyote bracelet in three shades4201 viewsThis bracelet actually uses three shades of purple, but the light purples are iridescent and solid. The iridescence doesn't show in the pic.
This was the first beaded item I ever made.

Hair ornament4058 viewsA simple stringing design and beaded bobby pin. I made this in a moving car. The charm is a comedy/tragedy mask design. It's held on with a lobster claw, so it can be switched out as needed.
