Mariko bear7580 viewsThis is Mariko bear. She's crocheted out of three or four strands of metallic gold embroidery floss. Her cape is rayon embroidery floss. Her nose and flowers are made of 15/0 seed beads, beaded in peyote stitch, the nose in a heart shape. She's fully jointed (arms, legs and head).

Jeweled beaded bar pin - Nutmeg Diamond7364 viewsThis is Mill Hill's Nutmeg Diamond beaded bar pin. I made one for the store where I was teaching the class, and bought one for myself, because I loved the colors. This is the manufacturer's picture, because mine didn't turn out.

Square stitch silver choker6874 viewsThis was made with square stitch and 11/0 S/L Delicas. Personnel at a bead store looked at it and thought it was made of silver.

"Holes scarf" from Iris Schreier's "Modular Knits" book6846 viewsThis is the "holes scarf" from Iris Schreier's "Modular Knits." I really enjoyed the short row technique used to make this, and at first I loved the colors in this yarn, but after a while, I began to think of the combo as looking like something the cat puked up.

Picot lace choker6576 viewsThis is a picot lace choker, made from a lace pattern in Beadwork magazine. I made this as a choker.

Rupert's sweater - bunny buttons6420 viewsThis is another view of Rupert's sweater. In case it's hard to tell, the buttons are bunnies. (Rupert makes quite the handsome model, doesn't he?)

Crocheted baby afghan6399 viewsThis is a baby afghan I crocheted for a friend. I couldn't get the entire thing in the photo, so I folded it until it fit. Yes, it's huge. I made it that way on purpose.

The stitch pattern is a random stitch pattern I grabbed from a book, probably "Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework." The yarn is Caron's Simply Soft. Green and I don't usually get along, but I do like this particular shade of mint green.

Scarf worn by AG-type doll Quia6195 viewsThis was a scarf I crocheted for Tia, my friend's AG-type doll. Quia, her sister, was kind enough to model it.

Flower motifs in flat, round peyote stitch5345 viewsThis was my first bead commission. On the spot I had to learn flat, round peyote stitch. I found it a very enjoyable technique, and not hard to do at all!

Soap sack5202 viewsBeginning of a knitted soap sack. It's finished now; I've done everything except join it together. I believe this came from Creative Knitting Magazine. This is made in a superwash wool yarn.
