Christening gown

Latest attempt to make something without a pattern. I became a Godmother last Friday and scrambled to make the gown in time. It was close!

Done with two sticks to see how it would come out. Took between 8 and 10 hours. Believe it can be adapted to machine and cut down on the time. NOT happy with the decorative flap. I really need to rethink that. Fortunately it won't be difficult to remove and redo. Just can't help tweeking!!!
