she's got nicky wrapped around her tiny hand already  haha and she's only just turned a month on monday 14th she's so good she wakes every 3 hours for feeds and she is a princess

Sigh, exactly as I would have expected.    It's not bad to do the rat pack music...but I don't think younger people are all that interested in it.

yep the lads found that out when all the newspapers and music stores and fans slated them for the allow us to be frank album because that's what it was called and i know michael buble does a lot of that kind of stuff even robbie williams once a member bitish band take that has had considerable success witht he rat pack/swing style

Yeah, some musicians here have done that...brought back some old time music.  It only serves them well if they want that particular audience.

that winds me up as well hollywood doing that once you've seen it you've seen it no need for hollywood to remaked say godzilla for the 90th time and i hate cover versions and duets i can't stand them and the rat pat album the guys did was very popular with the older generation who remeber sinatra and friends but they got slated like hell by the younger fans for it nicky gave me the pre-release finished album for christams that year and i'm ashamed to say i listened to it once and then threw it in the trash

Oh, I see!  Yeah, not really my taste in music, either, so I can understand their reluctance.  At least it turned out to be quite popular!    Sigh, remakes...they have a purpose, but they can be way overused...at least the guys did a nice job, particularly considering Sinatra music is quite old now and can sound very dated.  Their version didn't!  With music, it can be a bit dicey.  Sometimes people love a remake, sometimes they don't.  If an artist or band makes the music better than its original version (and not dated), that can help make the artist or band (as with the band and the brat pack music).  If not...oops. 
Aside from song remakes, what I find annoying is when Hollywood decides to turn some old TV show into a remake.    Blech.  It's okay if it's a one-time movie, but a series...meh.  I haven't seen very many series remakes that became hits.

that was for a one of tv show called she's the one filmed in london on 12/18/04 they got a fan to sing with them on their rat pack covers album not my tatse in music and the gus didn't really wanna do it but it was their record company's choice
