Tiny sweater, attempt 2, doll sewing needles used as knitting needles

This was the second attempt at making the tiny sweater.  I used the doll sewing needles and was happier with the tightness of the knitting.

Marilyn,
Glad I could help you with my mistake!  Smile  Yes, I used size 0000 (4/0) needles to knit I-cord out of size 10 cotton.  It was tedious to the max...though I felt the needles made a tight enough stitch.  Knit two inches of that thing, then found something better for the purpose, so never bothered finishing!  (Worse, I was knitting with black cotton that had a gold metallic thread wrapped around it.  The gold thread did not behave at any time.  Trying to work with the black was VERY difficult, because it was so hard to see.)

Melanie,
I have some size 000 needles, but I haven't tried to use them. I hadn't taken the time to think about what size yarn/thread I would need.   Thank you for telling me/us what didn't work.  That will save me some time if or when I decide to try out my needles.  .....If I can remember it that long!  Very Happy
Marilyn
