Are you making the baby set on the machine or by hand?  (I'm guessing by machine, as Saturday isn't a lot of time!)

Hi Ladies,  I've been distracted by home stuff.  Hope all is well with you.  I should be back to blogging tomorrow.  Will take pictures of the twist techniqe and post them too.  I have a baby set in progress for a baby shower on Sunday.

I thought I was the only one who liked to learn new techniques that I might never use.    
Charlene, I'm glad you figured out how to fix the sweater problem without having to undo everything.    
I, too, would love to hear more about this Swedish technique you mentioned.

Oh, please do! LOL, I'm definitely into techniques...I call myself a "technique junkie." I can't help it...even if it's not something I'll really use...I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO DO IT!

I don't think I've ever heard of a Swedish technique, so that would be a first for me!

If only I knew half of what I want to know.  Learned from a neighbor yesterday a new technique.  It's a method from Sweeden of using two colors at the same time and twisting them.  I have a punch card for the 260 that does something similar.  Very interesting.   Will try to post pictures.

I completely agree!    Especially when someone like you, who is so knowledgeable about them, turns out what I believe amounts to great art!    And that's what I consider your creations...great art!

It's such fun to realize that the two methods of knitting compliment each other.  Many things "cross over" but I do have to say that the time saved by using the knitting bed is capitivating.

Once again, I concede to your Mom...nobody would have noticed...PROMISE!  But I'm glad you did find a FANTASTIC way to fix it so YOU could live with it!    I'll have to remember this.  LOL, not that I EVER do anything wrong with my knitting, cough, cough.  ;D

Towards the bottom of the picture you can see the next column of stitches that was purled both ways.  With the two knit columns on the purl side it brings the "leaf" pattern on the front together.  Had I left the stiches as they were, it would have made a space between them instead.
