Neave,
Does Shay know about it, or is it a surprise?  Smile  Sounds like he really likes Iron Man!  Smile
I made a Tweety Bird cross stitch piece for my husband years ago...rats, guess I have to give it back!  Very Happy  It's in my photo albums somewhere here.  That was a pretty small piece and it worked up quickly.  The other one I started making for him years ago (sigh) is nowhere near finished, a Marjolein Bastin (birds) - very large piece.  No idea where it went, though.  That one went through two moves and hopefully is still around!
How do you feel about the Hitchhiker's Guide?  One of my friends is having a HHG themed party.  Love the series and think it's fun and hilarious!  Anyway, she loves birds and am thinking of knitting, crocheting or beadweaving one for her.  I do have a magazine that has a beaded hummingbird pattern...but not sure if I can find it in time.  Razz  So it may have to be made in crochet or knitting.  Oh, well.

Neave,
Oooh, a request?  Smile  Excellent!  <3
I have to admit, the larger pieces were just as much fun to work as the smaller pieces...just took more time.  So for someone who wants (almost) instant gratification, the cover kits are perfect!  <3

Neave,
Thank you!  <3  It's been such a long time since I made any of these, but now I'm thinking it would be neat to work on one or two of them here and there, as I still have a few random cover kits left.  Smile  They make for nice, quick little projects!
How sweet, to give your stash to your SIL...I'm sure she greatly appreciates that!  <3
