This picture shows more sharply the two tubes. I simply knitted a row, knit nine more rows and knit the first and the last row together. It makes the fabric as if there's only one row there, but with that "pooch".

Thank you for posting the new pics! They all look spectacular...though I have to admit, the one with the blue & green bobbles is my fave! I love the way you've contrasted colors with the gray, and the Simply Soft I-cord is lovely! Simply Soft not only has a nice feel to it, but also has a beautiful sheen. It really looks good in contrast with the "flatter" appearance of the wool!

LOL, nothing wrong with the Holly Hobby look! Some people like a nice, big floppy hat.
I have to say, the yarn looks SO different after felting. I would not think it would look SO different. It's really nice to see those original yarns and I'm glad you photographed them with the hats!

First, I LOVE the ultra feminine styling of this hat. I also like the contrast of the felted hat with the acrylic I-cord. The fact that you can SEE the stitches of the I-cord but not in the felted hat is what makes it SO interesting! I like that "pooch," too. It makes it really unique, in a very eye-pleasing way.
