That shrug does look adorable on your friend's daughter!  <3  And always a good idea to make things a little bit big for kids...they just about look at them and outgrow them!  Wink

i Have made my self one and made it the sleeves bit big as it was baggy, so have been wanting to do another one,  always had other things to knit but ill get there some point.

yeah i am, but im starting to think whether i should do it or not now coz the weather has been really bad these last few weeks and not had chance to wear any summer clothes.

LOL, I'm a bit jealous!  We've had a lot of hot days.  I don't like hot or cold, and I particularly dislike hot in the summer.   Blech!
Perhaps you could change the pattern enough to make it warmer? <3

very good idea thanks, could see if it would look nice if i made sleeves longer ect, just below elbow.
