What a wonderful idea, to mix the wool and acrylic!  I took a look at Sandy's site, and she definitely has some CUTE patterns! 
I'm guessing the difference between the two slippers isn't glaring...after all, we are our own worst critics.  Your eyes see imperfections...mine see perfect!

I'll have to retake the picture of the purple/blue slippers in such a way as to show the difference.  In any case I can't give them to anyone like that so will have to use them myself.  The black part of the slippers is knit with two strands, wool for warmth and acrylic for durability.  Sandy Sherman has some really nice patterns.

Squeeeeeeeeeeeee!  These are really CUTE!  My favorites are the blues and purples...LOL, yeah, yeah, you SAY one is larger than the other, but I really can't tell!  At first I thought I might be seeing the difference, but then when I look at the pics of the red pair, they also look different sized, because of the way they're laying flat.  So honestly, that's what it looks like to me with the blues and purples, that they're laying flat slightly differently from each other.
