That's so wonderful how the masks can be worn! Do you sell them? I've known people who have made masks in the past, but never out of polymer clay. Art that's made to be worn is the best! <3
You're so lucky that color is second nature to you...I generally stay within the same color choices (LOL, boring!), so I really love seeing color used so beautifully and creatively. <3 The book sounds awesome, too!

Hello all! I aplogize for being so delinquent in replying, life gets in my way, much more than I like.
Thank you for the kind comments, you are very generous.
First, yes, the masks are made to be used, the backs are felt lined to be comfortable against your face. I display them by running monofiliment between the eyes and hanging them on the wall when not in use.
Color is innate with me although I have done a bit of investigation in the area. I heartily recommend Poly Clay Color Inspirations by Lindly Huanani and Maggie Maggio to clarify your understanding of color. It's a great book, very informative and great for generating project ideas.
And Gypsy Mary, I double what Stichboard Admin says; I'd love to see your beads, please post!
Mary, please do post pics of your beads sometime, if you don't mind! WhimsyWise is ultra talented...if I could make something HALF as nice as this, I'd be happy!

These are gorgeous! Are the masks made to be worn? They're so stunning! Your use of color is phenomenal. How do you get beyond your comfort zone to use color so beautifully and creatively?
