Charlene,
Awwww...what SUPER new pics! Thanks for posting them!
Prince looks like a VERY HAPPY and BIG boy! It's wonderful how your cats get along with each other AND with dogs. You could not bribe our kitty with enough seafood to be in the same ROOM with a dog, much less lay so contentedly next to one. Nor could you get a camera nearby...no photo ops for this kitty!
Bet you have some fantastic kitty/doggy stories!
What wonderful new pictures...thanks again for letting us see your sweeties!

Charlene,
How could anyone NOT love little (LOL, or not so little) sweeties like that?!
I'm so glad you could help kitties in need! Ours is also a rescue. That's the only kind of kitty I ever plan to have in my life.
That's great how it worked out for Guiseppi...having an "only kitty," I completely understand...some cats do NOT get along with others, and I think it's cruel to force them to live together. You definitely did right by Guiseppi.
Awww, poor Mom! But you're right not to have declawed them...it's a cruel and horrible thing to do, "just" to save the furniture. I would never do that to a cat. Some of them don't heal well and they have to learn to walk differently, too. Just horrible. Some kitties' personalities change, as well, after something like that. NEVER. Better to have clawed-up furniture than maimed kitties.

Love em to pieces. Mikey, (the smaller one) will only get up in my lap. Papa brought three of them home because they were going to be put down. It was a litter of thirteen. Lady was told by her doctor since she was pregnant she should get rid of all her cats. Two Mama's and a litter of thirteen. Believe they were all related. Anyway, after they grew up Mikey tormented the third one who's name is Guiseppi, so much we had to let him go to another home. He went to a vet-tech and is living a very nice life there. At one point we had six cats in the house but there wasn't enough room for them all to live peacably so we're down to three. One died of old age and now there are just the two of them.
Sadly, they've destroyed two of Mom's antique chairs, but neither Papa nor me could find it in our heart to declaw them. It was explained to me that it involved "clipping off" what would be to us the first joint of our fingers and we just couldn't bear the thought. Poor Mom.

Thank you SO much for posting these! Precious, precious, precious!
But my dear, you must sleep somewhere else, because they are NOT going to budge! ;D

Charlene,
Like a lovely elderly woman we know said, "It's their house...they let me live in it." Too true!
