"Autumn" Freeform Peyote Necklace
January 30, 2010 at 11:59:16 AM
I have nothing on the go at the moment but have been sorting through my beads and have decided to do a freeform peyote necklace - already named "Springtime". I did an Autumn one so now I'm looking forward to spring.
Here is the autumn one

That's
gorgeous
! Your color choices are absolutely perfect, and I love the way you've added the larger beads with the freeform peyote. They add so much to the piece. I'm sure "Springtime" will turn out just as beautiful...LOL, if you get tired of either one, let me know and I'll be happy to take it off your hands.
(Can't blame a girl for trying!)
If you haven't already, feel free to start a photo album of your work...if you need any assistance, I'll be happy to step you through.

Hi, Pam,
I agree with Melanie. Those colors are beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing "Springtime".
I'm not sure if I said it in an earlier post, but I've put a few beads on some string, but nothing like what you've done. I've had a lot more experience in the areas of knitting, crocheting and sewing.

that's just absolutely gorgeous! i'm so jealous of everyone who can do freeform in any medium. sigh it drives me nuts if everything doesn't line up and fit together. LOL like everyone else, i can't wait to see spring, and summer and winter.
hugs,
MrsMo, who's off to find out why my sig line isn't working. LOL

Jann,
Your sig line looks good to me (and I
love
your avatar!)...please let me know if you're still having problems! (It won't work in Preview - was that where you were trying to see it?)
Hee hee, I'm like you (though probably far worse!)...I'm so Case A that it's really hard for me to do freeform. I'm currently working on a RAW project, and it took big-time courage, because of the beads sitting at right angles to each other!

Hi Everyone
Just thought I would let you know that "Springtime" has been started. I have chosen several different shades of green, blue, lemon/yellow/gold, pink, lilac/purple and white/cream. These are all size 11 seed beads.
So far it is looking good. Will let you know the stones I have picked later.
Pam.

Pam,
Those colors are perfect for Spring, IMO.
Can't wait to see the finished necklace! I'm sure it's going to be as amazing as the "Autumn" necklace is.
