Need to know how many stitches to enter
April 2, 2016 at 8:19:57 AM
I have 4 stitches per inch and two rows per inch I would like my total number of stitches to be 244 across what number do I put in for stitches. I tried 62 but if I enlarge the pattern (on screen) I can't tell what it is so I am afraid it won't look correct enlarged on the blanket. I have been trying to figure this out for over a month and it is driving me crazy. I feel it should be very simple. Help???
Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

Deb,
The problem is if you're trying to use the freePatternWizard to take an original that's much too large or much too small, you'll get the result where you won't be able to tell what your pattern is when you look at it.
The freePatternWizard isn't a graphics program, so it can't be used that way.
What you'd be best off doing is taking a graphics program and enlarging or reducing your image to the correct dimension across in pixels, in this case, 244 pixels, and then that will give you a better image to input to the freePatternWizard.
If you don't have a graphics program, here are two very powerful free ones:

I'm a beading, knitting and crochet addict. If that means I'm admitting I have a problem, then I admit to nothing. Please refrain from helping me.
