My finished emoji blanket

All the graphs were made here, I chose to make them with symbols only, instead of colors. Then I printed the graphs and used colored pencils to use only the colors I wanted, and where I wanted. Using the cross stitch over tunisian technique, I was able to use only scrap yarn for the images.

I love this blanket! Hmmmm.... have not tried the tunisian technique yet, but will have to learn it.

Perlandra,
Tunisian is a very different technique...and a lot of fun! Kiss It's especially lovely for cross stitching on it, so then you don't have to worry about switching colors in the middle of a row and having a lot of awkward bobbins. Smile

Thank you all, I do prefer the look of tunisian for graphgans. But after having tried the intarsia method a few times, I went back to the old way of cross stitching on it. It's easier, but it takes longer. Wink
