v2.13.0 Added Crochet Tunisian Square stitch

Hi, everyone.

This version actually contains two additions.

I'll describe each one in a separate message to make things a bit easier.

This message describes a new tunisian square stitch.  The other message describes the new word chart option.  You can get more details on the word charts here.

First, I just added a new Crochet Tunisian square stitch.  There have been many questions and discussions regarding proportions of final crochet-stitched items.  The final answer has been that it depends on guage, tension and other variables.  So, we now offer a horizontal, vertical, and a new square tunisian stitch.  As you click on each option, a little pop-up window will show up and tell you about the various uses.

Popup/Notes For Tunisian Horizontal stitch:

Quote:
ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

TSS (a.k.a. Tunisian Simple Stitch or regular Tunisian) with hook sizes N on up.
TKS (a.k.a. Tunisian Knit Stitch), all hook sizes.

Popup/Notes For Tunisian Vertical stitch:

Quote:
ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

TSS (a.k.a. Tunisian Simple Stitch or regular Tunisian), hook sizes up to and including L.
TPS (a.k.a. Tunisian Purl Stitch), all hook sizes.

Popup/Notes For the new Tunisian Square stitch:

Quote:
ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

This option is for finer yarns that crochet to the same number of stitches and rows in one swatch.
(Example: 18 sts x 18 rows = 4" x 4", 20 sts x 20 rows = 4" x 4")

Please do not use this option if your row and stitch count are not identical, as your chart will be skewed.

This is closer to the older patterns, which used finer afghan yarns instead of knitting worsted.

I also added the tunisian square option to your permanent settings options in the "Settings" tab at the right of the screen.

“If you can dream it, you can do it.
