Size limit of 150

Am i understanding right that the maximum size to chart a picture is 150 wide x 150 high.
I was wanting to do a chart of 270 wide x 292 high
Will you have an option to choose more sizes?
Was just wondering

Hi, Kathy!
First, actually currently the width limit for members is 150. The current internal height limit is 250 but the actual height is often calculated, depending on your setting in section 6 ("Enter the Desired Number of Stitches Across").
I think if you selected the default setting in section 6 (Actual number of stitches across) and gave it an image of 150x250, it would return a pattern exactly that.
Now to your question. 270x292 is certainly possible in the software (I just did an "admin" override and tested a 270x292 image and it worked fine, both on the screen, and on a 33-page pdf pattern). (I still say it's the fastest pattern creator on the internet. Did the 33-page symbols and colors pdf in 6 seconds
).
Technically, the larger the image, the more taxing it is on the Pattern Wizard server, both memory-wise and processing time. As I've mentioned here and there in other messages, we have a version that will be available for people who would like to produce patterns to sell, which will will have several additional features, like being able to store logos and other fixed information on our system, which can then display on pdf patterns. Larger images is also one of the additional features in this version. (This is NOT to say we won't bump the size up at some point for non-premium users). Also, as I've mentioned, this "premium" version will have a minimal charge, which will also address additional processing costs as more and more people use it.
In the meantime, if you'd like to try the larger formats, we could set you up as a free temporary "beta" tester of this premium version. Just let us know. (This would bump you up to a 300x350 max size for now).
Thanks again.
Terry
