Word Patterns

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knows what row is considered the "right side" when using the word patterns? I use the fair isle technique for most of my graphghans so it is extremely important to know which side to carry my yarn across.

I'm guessing you're using Fair Isle crochet, not Fair Isle knitting, is that correct?

Accepted convention has the first row as your right side, the second row as your wrong side.  Smile

Edit: P.S. It's actually the same for knitting.
