creating a graph in crochet

I'm new to stitchboard but love trying to create graphs.  I have created two different graphs and both graphs show a bold black tic-tac-toe image over the graphs.  I am choosing crochet, standard stitch & shape, wool-ease palette, chose limit number of colors, fit to 150 pixels option, colors only option, have tried generating graph with no grid & 10 grid options, & choosing graph only & graph & word chart.  This is very frustrating.  What am I doing wrong?
