Welcome! 

You're actually correct on both (plus more)...we currently don't have a feature to count the number of stitches, but how much you'll need of each color depends on the count of your fabric, the number of strands you're using (if you wanted to use 3 strands, you'd be using far more floss) and the number of stitches, too.

We'll be addressing additional features in a later version of the freePatternWizard, but in the meantime, we don't have a feature available to calculate the yardage of colors.

The good thing about cross stitch is, unlike knitting or crochet, you can buy one skein here and another skein there.  So if in doubt, perhaps you could either buy the skeins as needed, or you could guess on how much of each color you'll need, and return the rest when done.

Terrific...glad I could help!    Wish I could give you advice on where to get bulk skeins...I always purchase the smaller skeins of floss from craft stores.

a stitch count would be wonderful !!!!

Being able to produce a graph larger than 150 would be super.......

I love the word charts ...saves tons of time....just wishng I could make larger graphs for larger projects/

I've alerted Terry (support) that you want to be able to create patterns with more stitches.

So glad you like the word charts!  As for stitch counts, that's definitely on the list of future features!

I'll be looking forward to those features. LOVE the word charts. Have gotten some graphs from groups on Facebook....but I HATE having to spend all that time "counting and writing the graph.

I completely understand about the word charts...I also find them to be of much use and easier to follow than graphs!
