Graph lines disappear in crochet filet pattern
January 15, 2018 at 5:11:03 PM
Hi
........ I'm having a problem making a black and white graph pattern for filet crochet. The lines in the graph that make the little squares (that I count while I crochet) disappear when there are a bunch of them all in a row. I suppose it's because both the graph lines and the squares that form the picture are black. I only need a black and white graph for filet crochet though as more colors would be confusing..... Is there a way to change the color of the graph lines?? Or what solution do you have if any? I tried making my picture grey and white before I put it in your program but that doesn't seem to be working either. Thanks

Sue,
Welcome!
I've alerted Terry (Support) to your message. I can completely understand your difficulty!

Hi.
In the next version of updated software I changed the color of the grid however, I think I'll do two additional things.
On black and white charts, I'll set it to use non-black or white grid lines.
And I think maybe I'll also allow you to manually change grid line colors.
Internally, the software supports changing grid colors and also styles. I was thinking of not only allowing color selection but also possibly line style, like maybe solid lines, dashed lines, dotted lines, etc. Anything that would make them stand out.
But I agree this has been an area that needs attention. I'm just coming back to finishing the next update. I'll also be back to program development again in a few weeks.
So if you can hang in there for a week or so, I'll try to have this in the next update.
