Reading graph

I obviously have not had enough coffee. I'm just about to start the chart on my blanket. It's knitted. The chart reads the numbers from top down. Usually when knit you go bottom up. So do I turn it upside down and start. Or just start from bottom? Or do I start at top and go down. Some reason I'm having trouble figuring this out. Any help out there? Or do I just put on more coffee?

Amy,

Welcome!  Smile

You're correct...it should be numbered bottom to top.  I thought it had been changed, but obviously not!  LOL, but please put on more coffee...everything is always better after a nice hot cup!  Wink

Seriously, I'll alert Terry (Support) about this.  In the meantime, my suggestion would be to start from the bottom.  (Not that there's anything "wrong" with starting from the top, just that it would seem a bit odd, as most knitting is worked bottom up, not top down.)

Thanks for letting us know!  Smile

Amy,

You're very welcome!  Smile  At some point, either when you're in the middle or all finished, please post pics so we can see what you're doing.  And also feel free to post pics of any other work you've done, whether or not it was made with the help of the freePatternWizard.  Smile

LOL, lots and lots of cofffee really is the only way to get through life!  Laughing
