Wedding gift-NEED HELP
March 5, 2015 at 8:19:58 PM
I have a 12x12 piece of 14 count Aida cloth. I want to do a heart outline with the words "ALWAYS" & "FOREVER" above and below, with their names in the middle. It has been a long time since I have done something like this from "scratch" so any help in designing it would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Dawn,
Though we've been planning to introduce fonts at some point, we don't yet have them available. The best I can suggest for now is to create a graphic image with a heart shape and a very clear font to make your words. When I say a very clear font, that means nothing that would tend to get "lost." Part of the problem with uploading images with words is some fonts are beautiful, but they have thinner and thicker lines, where the thinner lines do tend to get lost in the image, and the message then won't be clear in the finished pattern.
I'm hoping we'll have fonts available in the near future, but as there's a list of about 100 features we'd like to add to the freePatternWizard, that may not be possible for the short term. I guess it's a good problem that we'd like to expand it so much, but as everything has to be worked into the program, it's not so simple, unfortunately.

I'm a beading, knitting and crochet addict. If that means I'm admitting I have a problem, then I admit to nothing. Please refrain from helping me.
