thanks for this site, I am new to patterns, love to do peyote stitch. I cannot seem to save the pattern I made tho. And it won't copy and paste into word so I can save it that way.

Hi and glad you like the program.

Are you trying to save a screen-generated pattern or a .pdf?

Also, what are you using to access the PatternWizard? (i.e. desktop, laptop, mobile device, Kindle, etc.)

When you create a pattern on the screen, you click on the "Download Pattern" button and it should pop up a window that will allow you to save it.  Note that you can also create a screen pattern on an iPhone or other mobile device and save it.

When you create a .pdf pattern, it really depends on what you're using to access the program.  For example, if it opens the pattern in a .pdf, and you're using Adobe Reader, simply pull down the top "File" menu and select "Save As" and then "PDF".

On something like the iPhone, one way to get the .pdf is to click on the "Email .pdf pattern to myself" in section 7 and then click the "Let's See My Pattern!" button.  The PatternWizard will send you an email with your .pdf pattern attached.

On an iPhone you could also tell it to download your pattern and then when you see it on the screen, tell it to open in iBooks.  It will then save the pattern and cutely show it as a spiral-bound pattern book on your iBooks bookshelf with the pattern cover sheet showing.  You can then print it or email it from your iPhone.

So let me know more details of what you want to do and I'll help.
