Heidi,

Welcome!  Smile

PDF is not an accepted format for the freePatternWizard.  Currently, we support the following formats for members:
.gif, .jpg, .png, .bmp, .tif, .psd, .svg, .pcx, .wbmp

I'm a little perplexed, though...you should have received an error message about the invalid format when you attempted to view your pattern.

When you do have a file with one of the above formats, please be aware that if you try to go from a lot of colors to very few - such as six - your results probably won't be very good.  Unless your original has a very small amount of colors, the system will attempt to match a lot of colors to only six, and your original image will get lost.  If you're looking to limit colors to what you might find in a yarn palette, I'd suggest using the Stitchboard Basic Palette, which will limit the colors to very basic ones.  While these aren't exact matches to available yarns, you'll have a far better chance of finding yarns in those colors than the Stitchboard Full Palette, with hundreds of colors that aren't available in yarns.

I'm sorry... I meant a jpg. lol

I can't seem to get the box labeled "art work" to be checked.  I think that will help get the results I want.

LOL!  Smile

The artwork function is disabled, so that's why you can't choose it.  It will be available at some time in the future, but I'm not sure when.

You may want to try fiddling with the settings and other options that are available, and see if something works for you in the meantime.  Smile
