My name it Johanna,

I've crochet, knitted and sewed all my life. I was around 9 when I learned to crochet by my Mother. She was so gifted with her hands so I guess I get it from her. It's sad none of my childrean can do any of these crafts. I've just started Tunisian. I love it and now want to learn how to create my own patterens so looking forward to the help from stitchboard and all the friendly people here.

It definitely is sad that your children never caught the crafting bug.

They're missing out, wouldn't you say? Hopefully someday at least one will realize how satisfying it is to make something.

Designing patterns is a lot of fun...work, too, but also fun.

Since you've been crafting for a long time, it should be pretty easy for you to design, and of course, we're here if you need us!
