Perfecting graphgan designs
December 7, 2019 at 10:29:17 PM
Hi, this is my first time posting. My issue is uploading graphgan images without the risk of having a numerous amount of different colors to deal with and compromising the quality of the image. For example, I've seen images of completed graphgans where the design was clearly defined and only 3 - 7 colors were used. Help.
Frustrated,

Hi,
Here are a few ideas.
1. Try selecting 5c "Limit the number of colors" and set a number like 7.
2. Try setting section 8 "Color sensitivity" to a higher number. You may want to bring this number up to something like 100 or 200 and see what that does. The results vary by image so there's no magic number. If it's better, try a larger or smaller number and see if you like one better than another.
3. Choose section 5 "I will choose my colors" and select exact colors you'd like. This would allow you to define the number of colors and tell it to only choose the given ones.
4. Varying brightness and/or contrast will also vary the number of colors but this is not really their main use.
5. You can also try a combination of the above. (If you choose "I will choose my colors" in section 5, you will not be able to use 5c).
Let us know whether this helps.
