Hello y'all from northwest GA

Hi everyone! I am writing from northwest GA. I am 57 and taught myself to crochet, back when I was about 12 years old. I love crochet and love learning new techniques all the time. I am currently living a hospice care (diagnosed with cancer) facility, waiting for my disability income to be approved so I can move back to my own place. I have lots of time to crochet anyway
I am currently working on a charity project. I am doing 10 (one left to do) baby caps and blankets. When I am done, I will chose which charity and ship the lot off to them. After that I will be crocheting about 10 small 'lapghans' for some dog rescues
Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

Ginger,
Welcome!
How cool that you taught yourself to crochet. You sound quite prolific with all of your projects!
It's always fun to learn new techniques...hee hee, I call myself a technique junkie...even if it's something I'll never use, I still want to know how to do it!
Best of luck with all that you do, and if you have any photos of your work, feel free to share them so we can all drool!

I'm a beading, knitting and crochet addict. If that means I'm admitting I have a problem, then I admit to nothing. Please refrain from helping me.
