I have download a dinosaur's head from your site but can't work out how big my fabric should be.
It was by "hookerangel".
Can you help me please?
Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

Picachu,
Welcome!
There's a calculation involved if you don't have fabric measurements. But the good news is, you don't need to reinvent the wheel! Someone has an excellent cross stitch fabric calculator.
https://yarntree.com/java/xstitchcal.htm
In addition to the number of stitches either way, you do need to know the count of the fabric you're using, because that will make a difference. 14 count vs 11 count is very different!
This calculator also allows for the specification of a border, if you plan to use a mat, and another calculation for extra fabric for finishing.
Hope this helps!
