hi .. i am new here.. i found this when i was trying to create my own pattern ... its super cool and wish to start on it soon.. made a pattern thru the create freepattern .. i have tried few online but i found the best here.. hope to start when i am finished with my current stitching ... i am 38 from malaysia.. good to be here..

hi there.. actually i was looking for something indianic to do as i am malaysian indian.. my sister bought a pattern frm our local craft shop but it wasnt appealing to me.. so i started googling and tried a few sites but to be honest urs the best.. i will post some pics of my work.. i started stitching with small ones and now looking forward to do big ones.. i have 3 kids and i really squeze in stitching whenever possible..

That sounds really interesting!
I love original patterns, especially ones that are inspired by not being able to find anything suitable already in existence.
Looking forward to seeing your work! Starting small is always what I suggest...I personally find I get discouraged when I start large. I started small, too. With cross stitch and everything else, that's what I did. If I'd started with big, complex projects, I never would have been into anything crafty.
