Hi! I love this web site!! I have a question though. I'm trying to make a lighter cover/case. I need the pattern to be exactly 32 down and 64 around. (I'm doing a peyote stitch). I can't seem to make a pattern to fit my exact needs. It's always to big.I have the picture I'm doing it m having trouble. Is it possible to make this size? If so, how? Thanks

Welcome!  Smile

At this time it isn't possible to set an exact vertical size.  This is a feature that's currently in development, so it will be available at some point.  Smile  Originally, it wasn't allowed because setting both a horizontal and vertical size would more likely than not skew patterns, so the freePatternWizard was set to maximize the finished pattern with the correct aspect ratio.  Since we've been hearing from people who want to set both length and width, though, we've determined that we'd like to offer a way to resize, though we're trying to offer that where patterns will have less chance of getting skewed to an incorrect aspect ratio.

For now, the best way I've found of working out the correct dimensions is to use a graphics program and add borders so that the finished pattern will adjust properly for both length and width.  Any graphics program will do for this, but if you don't have one, I'll be happy to suggest two very powerful free ones (for Windows), at least one of which should do the trick.  (I can't tell you how to use them, though...I use an ancient Paint Shop Pro from about, well, 1998. Embarassed)

Cousette,
Welcome! Smile
At this time the resize function isn't available, so until it is, we suggest using the workaround above of adding borders until you reach your optimal size. Smile
