New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I am new. And I need some help. I am trying to make a blanket of my son's dog's face. I am doing in grey scale (black and white) I have 6 colors. Using Red Heart Yarn. Max width? I am croucheting it.
1. how do you download and save to my downloads?
2. What are the best items to check on creating it to get the best results?
3. How do you match up the yarn numbers given with the one's at the store? Will they be the same?
4. Is there any tutorial I can watch to explain it all?
5. Figure the max width this will be approx 50" and 70" long
6. Am I using a single crouchet stitch?
Thank You

Exactly the question I was searching this site for. Thanks for asking
Welcome!
There isn't an option at this time, but we do plan to offer other shapes in the future.
Line,
That's really pretty! That would look soooooooooo elegant to wear to an event or nice dinner!
I think you should make it...it would be stunning, and you'd look great in it!
Oh, yeah, white isn't good for much of anything, at least not in garments. I have very few white articles of clothing (just a couple of t-shirts with designs on them) and will keep it that way! It's just not worth the upkeep. I don't even like white yarn unless it's absolutely necessary for something.
LOL, can you imagine?! Even without active kids around, I still wouldn't get white carpeting...like you said, a coffee or wine spill, and that's it! I guess those wealthy people either wouldn't have any active kids over, or they'd replace the carpeting often.
Hugs,
Melanie
Neave,
Good! Best thing is to let the jerk know he has no place in your lives!
