New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

i am interested in making crop tops what is the procedure on making a pattern for this? i need help???
Hi, Im new here and am trying to create a pattern to crochet by numbers. It's a greyscale picture of John Wayne with some words on it. I'm having trouble making it clear and always seems a bit dark. Also the words are not clear of all in black. Does anyone have the cleverness to help me please?
TIA
Lou
Thank you for fixing it. I too realize the difficulty in getting the correct value/color on screens versus the beads. Then there are all the different finishes as well. This is my first pattern I'm using this way. If you have any suggestions on how to get the best color out of a pattern, I'm all for learning. Without owning all the colors, I didn't think I'd do the best job selecting the colors myself, but I may give that a try also. Thank you
Sandy,

JDHCTP,
Welcome!
We do plan on
adding other yarns to the palette. I can't say which yarns and
when, as we have a complex process to go through to get the yarns
into the palette. We do take it under advisement when people
request certain yarns. So while I can't make any promises as
to specific yarns and timeframes, we do listen to what people
request.
And I'm glad to
hear Yarn Bee is in constant supply when so many things have become
unreliable or completely unavailable!
