Hi.  I created a cross stitch pattern with the Wizzard but it saves as gif.  How can i get it to save as jpeg?  thanks  cheryl

Hi.  The screen creation is made in a .gif format so the resolution is as high as possible.  If you need it in a .jpg format, there are a couple options:
1. Save the .gif, load it into a paint program, and save it in .jpg format
2. Use one of the free online conversion services on the internet. give it the .gif image and it will give you back a .jpg image

The problem of having the Pattern Wizard create a .jpg image is that saving it will introduce unwanted stray pixels when it compresses the image.

One other comment regarding outputting a .gif image is that depending on the pattern, you may have similar colors that are difficult to distinguish between.  This is why we offer the output .pdf format, which allows colors, symbols, or both.
