Hello!
May 28, 2015 at 9:46:05 PM
Hello I have been snooping around here for a few days now. I don't really see many graph patterns for sale and that could be because everyone makes their own, I don't know, but I am trying to make a graphghan for my dad. The thing is I need it at least 250 stitches across. I have seen some people getting upgrades and thought, hmmmm....I'll just upgrade! But I have not found an option to upgrade so can someone please explain how this works?
My dad: he's 77 years old, had a kidney transplant about 5 years ago-ish and since we aren't promised tomorrow, I'd like to get started on this for him today! The goal is to finish by Father's Day.
If you have any insight on how to upgrade, I would appreciate it!
God bless you one and all,
Thanks!
Jonna Pierce

Jonna,
You've been upgraded!
I think what you're doing is lovely!
Let us know how it goes. LOL, I personally wouldn't be able to make something 250 stitches across in such a short time (hee hee, too short of an attention span), so I'm practically breaking out in hives at the thought!
But I think it's wonderful that you can make this for someone who is so special to you.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for! Love it!!
I probably can't finish it by Father's Day either, but I'm going to give it the ole college try! He'll love it whenever he gets it. He'd like it if I gave him a bag of rocks as long as he thought I made it....hehe
Again, thank you so very much!

Jonna,
You're very welcome.
No doubt you're right that he'd like anything you make.
Perhaps you could make some small part of the pattern into a pillow that you can give him on Father's Day, as a teaser for the upcoming gift if you don't think you'll finish on time?
