Hello from Ontario, Canada

LaughingWhat an awesome and pretty site.  So people friendly and the visuals are extraordinary.  I love to crochet, cross stitch, and do plastic canvas.  I am a long-time (21 years) foster parent of teenagers so I find lots of things to make.

I am playing with the pattern wizard as I love, love, love graphgans.  I also love making pillows but haven't figured out quite how to decrease the size yet.  I need to ask for an upgrade to 300 stitches to increase the size of my afghans though as I want to make a wedding afghan for my brother and am playing with a wedding pic of Mickey and Minnie mouse.  I'm struggling with using too many colors but then if I use less it doesn't look quite right...lol.

Anyways, hellooooo from Canada and thank you so much for this site.  Can't believe it took me this long to find it.

Sandy

Sandy,

Welcome!  Smile  So nice to put a face to the words!  Smile

Thank you so much, and glad you like our site.  Smile

I've upgraded you to the 300 stitches, so you can now make those graphghans!

Have you tried the Stitchboard Basic Palette for your patterns?  I know the color choices are much fewer and don't look quite as nice, but the problem with the full palette is that there are just too many colors for yarns.  Sadly, yarn manufacturers don't have the capacity to go with larger palettes, as they'd never sell a lot of colors that way.  This is why we ultimately created the basic palette, to allow for the limited numbers of colors in yarns.  Smile

Anyway, enjoy and feel free to post pictures of your work so we can drool!  Wink

Thank you very much for the upgrade and the advice on the color palette.  I can't believe I didn't know about this site before.
