I get this magazine from the library. In last months issue in the products section there was a chain that was used as a row counter. It said you could count up to 200 rows with it. I've looked on line and all I can find are chains that count about 10 rows. Esty has some of those. Anyone else heard of this?

Pepper,

I'd never heard of this before!  Lacis does sell the item...they say it counts up to 200 rows.  I don't see a direct link, but a search for "chain row counter" brings it up.  Smiley

If you do try it, please let us know how it works out!

I went to Lacis and that was exactly what I had seen in the mag, but it didn't give any more info. I think I'm going to wait and see if my LYS gets it and then I could talk to someone about how it works. Looks like it's mainlyl for lace since it only fits needles 1 through 5. I only have 1 lace project on my needles and it's an easy 2 row repeat pattern.

Pepper,

I agree, it looks exactly like it's for lace, because of the small needle sizes.

I'd also like to know how it works before actually purchasing.  Great idea, to talk to your LYS if they start stocking this item!
