Melanie,
It really is, I'm loving the way it's working up in this pattern. So of course I'm curious now about how it would work up in other stitches.
Sadly, there's no way of knowing how long it will be available either. Last year I found a beautiful one called Sunshine Print and bought a couple just because it yelled at me. I used it to make hair for a girl dwarf doll, and now I can't find it anywhere.

Sherry,
I'm guessing you'll also love the Grape Fizz in many, many stitches...such a beautiful colorway!
I think the only type of stitch it would take away from is a cable...for obvious reasons, since you wouldn't be able to see the cable very well with the changing color.
Oh, yeah, it seems like some of the
prettiest
colors get discontinued.
Hopefully that won't be the case with the Grape Fizz!
I bought some Bonbon Print today. I was going to get the Monet I had eyed, but then the Bonbon Print really called out! It doesn't have as much purple as I'd like, but the blues and pinks are gorgeous:
http://www.redheart.com/yarn/super-saver-economy/bonbon-print
Sigh, the only drawback is this was the last skein left of it, and it may have been returned...there's a long thread coming out of the center of the skein, and the center isn't very tight.
So it may be less than the 5 oz it's supposed to be.

Melanie,
I've been eyeing that Bonbon print for the longest time.
But there are always sooo many calling my name.
I can't wait to see how that works up.

Sherry,
Isn't it
gorgeous
?! I know, there are so many colors that really do scream out to be used!
I can't wait to see how it works up, too!

Melanie,
So have you had a chance to play with it yet?
Or is it sitting in a corner yelling for attention?

Sherry,
LOL, it's screaming in my ear! It's saying, "Get that bloody sweatshirt done or
else
!"
Matter of fact, last night it didn't just scream. It jumped down off of the shelf, found me under the covers and it jumped up and down on top of me! I heard it scream, "
Now now now now now now now
!" Matter of fact, if it wasn't nice, soft yarn, I'd be black and blue and pressing charges!
Do you think maybe it wants me to finish the sweatshirt so I can give it some attention? Or am I reading that wrong?

Melanie,
I'm thinking it wants you to take a break from the sweatshirt, and give it some proper attention.
But isn't that the way when we get a beautiful new skein? They just scream for attention, like little kids.

Sherry,
Sooooooooooo true! And I really want to go away from the sweatshirt and start with the purty yarn, yum, yum! I'm thinking of really trying to finish the sweatshirt tonight, even though I still have most of it left, sigh. If I can get the entire thing done, then tomorrow...
I am free
! Then I can use that yummy Bonbon Print! Trying to be very, very disciplined...put it this way...if I don't finish it in front of the TV tonight, I'm seriously thinking of bringing it in here and just picking it up every few minutes to take a stitch. Not as comfortable...but at least it will get done!
LOL, skeins like little kids! Hahahahahahaha! So true!
What a funny mental picture that is!

Melanie,
Yikes! How awful when we have to use the word "disciplined" with our craft.
That makes it sound even more like we have little kids under foot, doesn't it?

Sherry,
LOL, sigh, you're right. "Disciplined" doesn't go with something that
should
be fun!
I did finish the bloody thing last night and am happy with the way it turned out...now that our temperatures are
way
too high to wear it. Oh, well, it will be good for next year.
LOL, better than little kids, though...we won't get in trouble for stepping on yarns!
Don't have to feed, clothe or send them to school, either...I'll take being smacked around by a skein or two for such low maintenance!

Melanie,
I don't know, though. Just like little kids, mine will not be contained.
Try as I might, I can't seem to keep them confined to one area, they follow me wherever I spend any time.
Along with my hooks.

Sherry,
I'm afraid I suffer from the same affliction.
They follow me...now they're jumping on my head and screaming when I'm awake!
They will not leave me alone.
Same with the hooks and needles...and beads, too. I think it's a conspiracy. I think they plan late at night to trip me up during the day until they get the attention they crave. I found an errant piece of yarn under the covers today. Is that not suspicious? Because I think that's suspicious! (Glancing furtively around.)
How does that saying go? Just because you're crazy doesn't mean they're not out to get you...

Melanie,
Very suspicious indeed.
I packed away my jewelry making supplies a couple of years ago, but I still find beads in odd places. Sometimes even full strands.

Sherry,
Yeah, that's what I say...suspicious! I once found a beading needle...stuck
in
my pillow! So they're not only doing whatever they want, they're also terrorizing me! I considered that beading needle a threat and delcared war!
Wow, entire strands of beads?! They're on the move, no doubt about it! When you turn on a light in a room, do you see beads scattering? I swear I do!

Melanie,
Oh no!
In your pillow? Tricky little things, those craft supplies.
No doubt at all, they want proper attention. They want to be made into beautiful, sparkly things.
