How to make a Beaded Tassel

It is really easy to add beads to your tassel.  The process is basically the same as a regular tassel, but you don't need to cut the bottom of the tassel.  Here is the video:

Very nice...thank you!  Smiley  I think this would be an amazing way to make earrings with some of the decorative embroidery floss you can get now - they would be nice and lightweight, too.  I love beaded earrings, but sometimes the weight of them can be prohibitive.

BTW, there is an easier way to thread your beads on when the holes are too small to fit through a needle that fits on your yarn.  Take a needle that will fit through your beads and double a piece of thread, whatever will fit through the eye of the needle while doubled.  Thread the two ends of that thread into the eye of the needle, so you have a loop of thread hanging from the eye of the needle, then put your yarn through the loop.  Then you can thread the beads onto the thread, which will go right onto your yarn.

Of course, you don't want to use beads that are way small for your yarn, as the yarn length is sort of "double" for a bit where you are actually threading it on there with this method.  Smiley
