Help, I'm new to this site having trouble converting photo to a beading pattern.  When can I find a step by step on how to use the pattern maker

Hi, and welcome!

I'll be creating some little videos beginning in a few weeks that will be tutorials of every feature of the program.

I know it all looks complex but you can get started with just a few clicks.

FYI, I'm in the process of correcting a bug with Peyote stitch using A4 paper size but the rest of the beading area is fine.

Let us know if you have any specific questions in the meantime and we'll try to help.

I entered all the info requested, for loom pattern, accept the portion that asked for company, email address, etc.  When I clicked the button to make the pattern it gave a message at the top in red that I didn't understand

Hi.

That red message is trying to give you information so you can make a necessary change to either the image you're using or one of your settings.

Let me know the text of the error and I'll let you know what it means and how to correct it.

I have no problem creating a cross-stitch pattern, but cannot see how to save it. What am I missing??

Geraldine,
Welcome! Smile
What do you have chosen in #7, where the options are:
Show .pdf pattern on screen
Download pattern
Email pattern to myself
Do you have "Download pattern" checked and if so, what happens when you click on #9 "Let's See My Pattern!"
You should be asked where you want to save the file. Smile
