Welcome all cross stitchers!
February 15, 2010 at 2:53:40 PM
Hi to all cross stitchers!
Having been a cross stitch addict for many years, I've been concentrating on other crafts for the moment. However, I still have a great love for all things cross stitch. Feel free to check out my photo album(s)! Currently, I've only put up one (as I have to resize photos first), on Swedish Huck Weaving/Monk's Cloth, but I'll be putting up two others, one with my larger cross stitched pieces, one with the smaller ones.
These photos represent many years of cross stitching.

Hi Melanie,
Glad this is up. I LOVE embroidery and cross stitch. I'm just now thinking of using the same skill set for embellishing on knitted clothing. The hats were the first go at it.

Charlene,
And they turned out wonderfully! I think you're onto something terrific.
I've finally got all (um, I think) of my finished cross stitch pieces into the photo albums. LOL, there are a
lot
of them!

A friend of mine bought one of my hats. She came to see me this morning to watch how the machine works. She wants to come back and see the start to finish process. Should be fun.

Charlene,
Excellent...it sure
does
sound like fun! Nice that she not only purchased a hat, but wants to see how one is made. What a lovely compliment to your work, for her to show such interest!

He he, I hadn't thought of it that way. I was just excited that someone was taking an interest. Thanks Melanie.

Charlene,
You're welcome...I'd be excited, too! I've never had anyone ask how I made something for them or express a desire to see the work being done.
