Hi,

I'm trying to make a pattern with the pattern creator and it looks very good, but the real card only has 6 solid colours and the pattern gives me so many, every cross stitch seems to be a different colour. I've been playing with the options the creator has, but I haven't found out which of the image enhancement options I need to get more solid coloured areas. Does anybody here know? Thanks.

Hi, and welcome!

In section 7 try turning the "color sensitivity" up to a higher number. This will begin combining colors and reduce the total number in a pattern.

You can also select "I will choose my colors" in section 5b and manually enter the colors you want. The program will then limit the pattern to only those colors.

You may also want to try turning on the "anti alias" in section 8.

There are other settings you can try but these are a few that may help.
