Hi Sharlene,
I'll give you a link later today with a different version of the software which addressed this Peyote issue. These changes were made back in March and I've turned the version on and off a few times as I do other updates and fix a couple formatting issues. Once you try the new link version, please try the same image and let me know if your problem goes away.
I need to turn off some things and unlock it for your member ID so you can use it but I'll post the link sometime in the afternoon or evening

Sharlene,
I just unlocked a different version of the freePatternWizard for you to try. It will only work for you and will not work for others.
Try this version with the same image that causes a problem and let me know if it works.
Here's the link:

Nope. I so appreciate you sending the link but unfortunately, I'm still getting only black and white.

Hi,
Would you mind if I tried using your photo to see if I can duplicate the problem?
If so, I'll give you information on how to get the image to me.
If I get the same results using your image, I'll be able to see the cause and fix it. I just finished some more work on the program for a corporate account so I do have time to look into your problem.
Let me know if you want to send me the image.
Thanks.
Terry

Hi Terry,
Did I somehow miss the info you were sending in order to forward the image and colors to you?

Sharlene,
Sorry about the delay. I'll send you an email. Please reply to it and attach one of your images.
You said you're using the peyote setting. Please also let me know the colors you're selecting.
I'll let you know once I receive your image.
Thanks.

Sharlene,
Thanks for the email. Let me look though everything and I'll let you know my findings.
Just a note: I ran two of your images through the PatternWizard using peyote stitch. Without manually selecting colors, they worked fine.
I'll read through your notes and take a look at the spreadsheet of colors.
I'll probably get back to you tomorrow after I go through everything and do some testing.

Thank you for the email. Terry and for letting me know you received mine in good order.
I am able to input any image and the PatternWizard works excellent except when I choose my own colors. That's when I get the black and white result.
Thank you again for attempting to resolve my issue and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Sharlene

Sharlene,
I just made a change to the test version you ran. The link again is
here
.
This test version knows your member ID and is not available to other users.
Try it again and let me know.

Hi!
Please let me know a few settings.
I'm assuming your crochet stitch type is
not
"Filet". (Filet always gives a black and white pattern).
What palette are you using in section 5a?
Are you manually selecting your colors (5b)?
What is your setting in 5c?
Is color sensitivity in section 8 set at 20?
Are both brightness and contrast set at 0 in section 8?
Are the settings "Grayscale", "Edge Detection", "Emboss", and "Sketch" all disabled (check boxes not checked) in section 8?
This will help me figure out what's going on.
I'm assuming you're getting a black and white pattern.
Thanks for the information.
